Another positive week for the economy.
With the latest quarterly GDP figures showing a growth of 0.6% the UK came out of its shallow recession. In June last year the figures tumbled into the negatives and have hovered just above and below the base line until January. From January there has been a steady improvement.
The combination of the quarter generated a 0.6 percent figure that put the UK ahead of all other reported figures from the G7 countries. The 0.6 figure from the UK compared to 0.3 percent from the Eurozone and 0.4 percent for the US.
In addition we are seeing the strongest figures for FTSE100 market at close to 8,500.
