John Matthews has been doing accountancy and tax stuff for more years than he cares to remember.

From 1984 to 2017, John was at Ensors Accountants. From 1995 to 2017 John was a partner dealing with a variety of business services and personal tax clients.

In 2017 John’s time at Ensors came to a natural end. To quote John, he says that he doesn’t feel completely brain dead yet and enjoys meeting and helping clients with accounts, tax and general financial matters, so on to the next chapter with
Contador Accountancy providing support and assistance to Louise and the Team.

Over the years John has acted for clients of all shapes and sizes. One man bands through to UK based subsidiaries of international companies, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

A particular specialism is start up and early stage businesses. By creating the right foundations there is a secure base for a business to develop.

John likes to get to know the clients he acts for and to find out what makes them tick and what their aims and ambitions are. John tries to provide a timely and cost effective service.
